Spring Fox Program (FF)
Ages 2 - 5 / 9am-12pm
THURSDAYS: 12 Weeks + Family Day
PROGRAM COST: $565
First Day: April 3rd
Last Day: June 17th
A Day at the Fox Program with Out & About
Our day begins with a Morning Gathering and Connection, where we extend warm greetings to families and children. This time is dedicated to settling in, connecting, and engaging in playful interactions, ensuring a welcoming start to the day.
Throughout the day, Child-Led Inquiry and Play take center stage. Educators observe, follow, enhance, and engage with the children's inquiries and play, using story time and shared ideas to provide moments of reflection and inspiration. By keenly observing the children's interests, educators can provide the necessary support to deepen their learning and engagement.
Some activities we will be participating in this Spring include:
Nature Hikes: Exploring local trails and learning about native plants and animals.
Forest Art Projects: Creating art using natural materials found in the forest.
Shelter Building: Building shelters using natural materials and learning survival skills.
Wildlife Observation: Identifying and observing birds, insects, and other wildlife.
Scavenger Hunts: Participating in nature-based scavenger hunts to discover and learn about different species.
Adventure Playground: Time spent playing and building our structures!
Gardening: Planting and tending to a garden, learning about the life-cycle of plants.
Storytelling and Songs: Sharing stories and singing songs around the campfire.
Mindfulness and Yoga: Practicing mindfulness and yoga in a natural setting to promote relaxation and well-being.
